Club Rules

We do have some club rules in place – these are for your own protection and comfort:

Students must inform their Instructor of any pre-existing medical conditions or disability prior to training.

Students must not train with serious cuts, infectious skin or nail conditions.  Minor cuts or abrasions should be covered.

Jewellery and watches must not be worn – wedding bands which cannot be removed must be covered.

Nails (both hands and feet) must be kept clean and short to prevent injury.

Students should endeavour to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and ensure that their Gi (training suit) is clean before practice.

Students must not swear in the do-jo.

Students must not practice if they have consumed alcohol or a heavy meal.

Lost licences will be charged for in full – please look after them – they are an important document.  Although our licence books are leatherette and of a very high quality, please keep them in a presentable state.

Students under the age of 16 – MUST be collected and dropped off at the internal door where the Instructor can see them.  If anyone else other than their regular carer will be collecting them – please make us aware.    There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
